Bigleaf Networks' Dynamic QOS feature detects and responds to changes in available circuit throughput when sensitive traffic could be affected, and prioritizes both inbound and outbound VoIP traffic. Dynamic QoS detects the bandwidth bottleneck in the path to and from the customer’s site and adapts QoS policies to ensure traffic isn’t buffered in QoS-unaware ISP routers.  Because Bigleaf handles public IP addressing in the Bigleaf cloud, real-time applications aren’t interrupted during circuit outages and your VoIP calls stay intact. Before your traffic traverses the path between the Bigleaf datacenter and your building, Bigleaf encapsulates each packet in a tunnel which enables them to provide you with static IP addresses that don’t change when your traffic moves between circuits. So, if you're in the middle of a phone call using your VoIP service and your primary internet circuit goes down, Bigleaf will re-route the call traffic over your secondary internet pipe with no service interruption and without "dropping" your phone call.

Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
Internet Security: Firewall-as-a-Service

Picture
Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) is an enterprise networking category which converges SD-WAN and network security point solutions (Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS), Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) into a unified, cloud-native service.  In the past, network access was implemented with point solutions, managed as silos that were complex and costly. This hurt IT agility. With SASE, companies can reduce the time to develop new products, deliver them to the market, and respond to changes in business conditions or the competitive landscape. SASE architecture provides the agility and flexibility needed in this new environment. SASE makes it possible to deploy new branches remotely with low overhead. It also provides the security stack to ensure employees and contractors can access systems securely from anywhere. As a result, Gartner predicts that 20% of organizations will soon use SWG, ZTNA, and FWaas from the same vendor. By 2024, at least 40% of organizations will have an official SASE adoption strategy.
